You get the same access to the computer whether you own it or whether you rent it. But if you rent you can spread payments over the life of the system and deduct the rental cost for tax purposes.
If you own your computer and you need repairs, warranty or no warranty, you are on your own. Even warranty repairs can take 10 days simply to schedule in a technician to diagnose the fault. If you rent, you are fully supported by Mac Rent/PC Rent. Any problem with the computer you are renting will be fixed within hours or we will provide you with a replacement unit, usually within the same working day.
