I’ve hired a network printer but when I connect it to my workplace network I can’t print. What’s wrong?
When any device (including a printer) is connected to a network for the first time it has to be given information by the person/company managing your computers to enable it to communicate on your network and be able to speak to the computers you need it to print from. Your network administrator will be able to set this up, alternatively Abacus Rent IT can install a printer on your network (extra charges will apply).
The printer which has been working has now started printing out blank sheets of paper or the information on the page is very faint and hard to read. What should I do?
Check the screen on the printer to make sure a message saying ‘Toner Low’ or ‘Maintenance required’. If either of these messages (or similar) are displayed please call us on 1300 55 24 24.
