Digital Video Camera Troubleshooter
The digital video camera I hired has an in-built hard drive, not a Mini-DVD drive. How do I get my videos off the camera and onto my computer or a DVD?
After you have finished taking the footage, insert the CD/DVD bundled with the camera and the USB cable, connect the USB cable to the printer and the computer and use the software provided to download the movie(s) onto your computer.
The digital video camera I hired has a Mini-DVD drive. How do I use this and get my movie(s) burnt to a Mini-DVD disc?
After you turn on the camera follow the below instructions based on your camera model:
Canon DC 22:
- Plug into AC Power to perform finalising
1. Initialise DVD-RW prior to use
- Plug camera into AC power to perform initialisation
- Initialisation message should appear when a new disc is inserted
- Select the 'video' option as the format type
- Disc is now ready to use

1. Initialise DVD-RW prior to use
- Plug camera into AC power to perform initialisation

- during initialisation choose the 'video' format
- Disc is now ready to use

2. Finalise disc after use
- Plug into AC power to perform finalising
- Follow these directions
